Sell the file, not the shipping
Downloads and license keys, delivered the moment a payment clears. Files sit in private storage behind a signed link tied to one order — never a public URL — with a download cap and an expiry window whenever you want them.
Files
Upload it once, sell it forever
A PDF, a zip, an audio file — upload it to the product and it's ready to sell. Your files go into private storage rather than the public asset bucket, so there's no address anyone can guess or pass around. Buyers reach them through a signed link tied to their own order, and the file's real URL is only alive for about ten minutes.

License keys
A code per buyer, traceable to them
Sell software licenses, event codes, or gift-card numbers — one unique code for every unit sold. Let the system mint them, in sixteen characters with no lookalikes, so nobody ever reads an O as a zero. Or load a pool of the real vendor codes you already hold. Either way, each code is on record against the order it went out on.

Staying in control
Caps, expiry, and a key you can pull back
Decide how many times a file can be downloaded and how long the link stays good for. Refund an order and its keys are revoked and its downloads stop working the same moment. And because every code belongs to exactly one buyer, a code that shows up somewhere it shouldn't points straight back to where it came from.

Delivery
Nothing goes missing between you and the buyer
The confirmation email carries the keys inline and a button through to the order page for downloads — never a raw file link, because email prefetchers would quietly eat one off the cap. If a key pool empties mid-sale the order back-orders instead of failing, and everyone waiting is emailed the moment you top it up.

Selling a download in three steps
Add the file or the keys
Upload your files to the product, or switch keys on and choose whether to mint them or load your own.
Set the limits
Pick a download cap and an access window, or leave both open. That's the whole setup.
Let it sell
Payment clears, delivery goes straight out, and every code is logged in your ledger against the order it belongs to.
