Reviews & favorites

Proof that sells the next one

Ask for a review automatically after every order, approve what goes live, and show real ratings on your product pages. Shoppers save what they love to a wishlist — and you get to see what they're waiting on.

Collecting reviews

The ask goes out on its own

When you mark an order fulfilled, a review request schedules itself — a set number of days later, so it lands after the parcel does. The email carries a private link to that customer's own order, where they pick the product they bought, leave a rating, and write a line or two. No account to create, no password, nothing for you to chase.

A review request email under the AURELIA wordmark, headed “How did we do?”, telling Jordan the studio would love to hear what they think of the Maple Hearth and that it only takes a minute because their words help other shoppers, with the product named on its own line above a dark plum Leave a review button.

Approval & trust

Nothing goes live until you say so

Choose whether reviews publish as they arrive or wait for your approval. Anything collected this way is tied to a real order, so it carries a verified-purchase mark — and anything you'd rather not show can be held back or pulled from the site at any time, without deleting it.

The Reviews list in the dashboard: a search box and an Any status filter above a table of three reviews — from Dana K., Pete R. and Sonya A., each against the candle they bought and rated between four and five stars — every row carrying a green Published tag, with Import CSV and Export CSV buttons at the top right.

On your site

Ratings where they change minds

Your product pages show the average rating, a breakdown by star, and every published review — paginated, with the reviewer's name and date. Add a reviews section to any other page too, and set a minimum rating so only your strongest ones show up there.

A Customer reviews section on a storefront: a summary card scoring 4.0 in four gold stars, based on one rating, above a five-to-one star breakdown with a bar against each; beside it the review itself — four stars, dated, headed The Forest Floor, Bottled, describing Fern & Moss as green and earthy in the loveliest way, and signed by Sonya A.

Favorites

A wishlist that tells you what to stock

A heart on every product lets shoppers save what they aren't ready to buy yet. They sign in with a one-time link sent to their email — no password to invent — and their list is waiting when they come back. On your side each save lands against the customer, so you can see what's wanted before it sells out.

The Favorites list in the dashboard: a table of what shoppers have saved, three candles kept by the same customer — Morning Frost at $36.00, Birch & Cedar and Maple Hearth at $38.00 — each with its thumbnail, the shopper’s email beneath their name, and the date it was saved, with an Export CSV button at the top right.

Start collecting in three steps

01

Turn it on

In your site settings, choose whether reviews publish straight away or wait for approval, and how many days after an order to ask.

02

Ship the order

Mark it fulfilled as you normally would. The request email schedules itself — there's nothing extra to send.

03

Approve and show

New reviews arrive in your dashboard. Publish the ones you want and they appear on the product page right away.
