Welcome to Tropic Arts. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Tropic Arts website located at www.tropic-arts.com (the "Site"), as well as any templates, documentation, support services, and related content we provide (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Site or Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site or Services.

Tropic Arts ("we," "us," or "our") is a website-template studio that designs and sells premium templates through the Tropic Arts store and provides documentation and support for those templates.

Eligibility

By using our Site or Services, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater. If you are using our Services on behalf of a business or other legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

Template License and Usage

When you purchase a Tropic Arts template through the Tropic Arts store, you receive a license to use that template in accordance with the platform's standard template licensing terms. Your purchase grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the template on a single store.

You may

Install the template on one store per license purchased. Customize the template's settings, content, and appearance through the website template editor or by modifying the template code for your own store. Use the template for commercial purposes on the store to which it is installed.

You may not

Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or otherwise make the template available to any third party, whether in its original or modified form. Use a single license to install the template on multiple stores. Claim authorship or ownership of the template or any portion of its underlying code, design, or assets. Extract, repurpose, or repackage the template's code, design patterns, or assets for use in another product or template.

Purchases and Payments

All template purchases are processed through the Tropic Arts store. Pricing, payment processing, billing, and transaction handling are managed by the platform and are subject to the platform's Terms of Service. We do not directly collect or process payment information.

Template prices are listed on the Tropic Arts store and are subject to change at our discretion. Any applicable taxes are determined and applied by the platform at the time of purchase.

Refund Policy

Refunds for template purchases made through the Tropic Arts store are governed by the platform's refund policies. If you experience a technical issue with one of our templates, we encourage you to contact us first so we can work with you to resolve it. In many cases, issues can be addressed through support or a template update.

If a refund is warranted and falls within the platform's refund guidelines, we will work with the platform to facilitate the process. Refund eligibility and timelines are ultimately determined by the platform.

Template Support

We provide support for our templates to help you with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of features included in the template as designed.

What support includes

Assistance with template setup and configuration through the website template editor. Guidance on using the template's built-in features and sections. Bug fixes for issues caused by the template code itself. Answers to questions about template functionality and documentation.

What support does not include

Custom development, bespoke design work, or modifications beyond the template's built-in settings and features. Troubleshooting issues caused by third-party apps, custom code you have added, or conflicts introduced by other modifications to your store. General hosting platform support, store setup assistance, or guidance unrelated to our templates. Training on store administration, Liquid templating, or web development.

We aim to respond to all support inquiries in a timely manner, but response times may vary based on volume and complexity.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Tropic Arts website — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, design elements, code, documentation, and template demos — is the property of Tropic Arts or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any content from our Site without our prior written consent, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law.

The Tropic Arts name, logo, and all related product names and branding are trademarks of Tropic Arts. Use of our trademarks without prior written permission is prohibited.

Acceptable Use of Our Website

You agree to use our Site and Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Site in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair it; attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, its servers, or any connected systems; use any automated system, including bots, scrapers, or crawlers, to access the Site for any purpose without our express written permission; or introduce any viruses, malware, or other harmful material.
